Mestre Raposa International

Home » About Us

It is more than 20 years since the Helmert brothers conceived of the idea to found a window company in Portugal. At that time, the availability of window options with high technological standards was limited in the South. Clients from Central and Northern Europe building holiday homes in Portugal struggled to source windows of the same calibre that were available back home. This gap in the market led to Mestre Raposa first opening its doors in 20**.

Our focus from the start was on supplying high-quality products coupled with premium service, a company ethos that helped us establish our solid, international reputation as a universal supplier of windows and doors. In the two decades since its inception, Mestre Raposa has completed over 5000 window and door projects, and our exceptional quality products have been utilised in new builds, renovations, and in the preservation of historic or listed buildings.

The expertise acquired from over 5000 realised projects, means we will always find the best solution to your design queries whether your project is a historic townhouse requiring sympathetic restoration or a modern, minimalist home.

Mestre Raposa regularly undertakes international projects, many through repeat custom from existing clients who require our expertise on their projects abroad.

Getting in touch with Mestre Raposa is easy. Simply make an appointment to visit our showroom or schedule a video call to discuss your requirements with a member of our team.

Faro International Airport is only 20 kilometres away from our premises, making it easily accessible to our international clients. We have a multinational, multilingual team to ensure effortless customer service.

We work with various system providers such as Sky-frame, Solarlux, Schüco, Aluprof and Roma, to name just a few.

Few companies offer as broad a range of profile options as Mestre Raposa. Unfortunately, this means we are unable to display the full range online.

We can, however, supply a carefully curated selection of profile sections for specific projects alongside quotations.

Profile sections from our partner system providers can only be supplied during the processing stage of a project because of the sheer number of options available.

For architects working on specific projects, samples are always available on request.

Owing to these constraints, we limit ourselves to displaying our own, Mestre Raposa brand profiles online, which we manufacture in wood.

With many design variations, and sizes of 68, 78 and 88mm, our profiles can be supplied in either wood or wood-aluminium.

Mestre Raposa windows have been performance tested by the University of Coimbra and the FCBA Bordeaux in France, achieving exceptional results.

The purchase of energy-efficient doors and windows offers numerous advantages for your home. By improving thermal insulation these products contribute to increased energy efficiency and a more comfortable environment. At Mestre Raposa, wooden windows were subjected to rigorous performance tests at renowned institutions such as the Bordeaux Institute of Technology (FCBA) in France and the University of Coimbra in Portugal. The results exceeded European average in critical parameters such as air permeability, wind resistance, water tightness and Uw thermal transmission. Choosing energy-efficient solutions can reduce heat transmission, increase indoor comfort and potentially benefit from savings in climate costs.
